What we are

KilusNa is a citizen-powered transparency and accountability platform for the Philippines. Anyone can submit reports with evidence, discuss them in the open, and track what happens next — from newsroom-style updates to fact-check verdicts and public case files on officials and proceedings.

How it works

• Report. Citizens submit reports — text, photos, documents — linked to people, organizations, locations, and topics.
• Verify. Fact-checkers review claims against evidence and publish verdicts (true, misleading, false…) with sources attached. A claim is never a finding of guilt.
• Track. Research cases keep a timeline of events and a rated source list, so years-long sagas stay coherent instead of dissolving into rumor.
• Discuss. Freedom Wall debates, direct messages, and community voting surface what matters — with moderation and audit trails.

What we are not

We are not a court, a newsroom, or a government agency. We provide infrastructure for evidence-based discussion — sourcing, verification, correction, and dispute. Content here is user-generated: check the labels (documented fact, claim, analysis, opinion, unverified) and the cited sources before acting on anything.

Identity & trust

Single sign-on (KilusNaID) keeps one account across the platform. Members may verify themselves, earn credit through good participation, and post under a pseudonymous alias where allowed. Reviewers and staff are accountable through public audit logs.
